Capabilities Laser Cutting We have 8 state-of-the-art Lasers (3 fully automatic) which can cut up to 3/4" mild steel.   CMM Capabilities Computerized object measurement and reporting for customer part inspection, certification, and quality control.   Machining / Milling We have a quantity of 5 VMC’s and a quantity of 3 “5-Axis” machining centers.  Machines used for machining anything from misc. parts to ATM Boltwork.   Shearing We have shearing capability. The shears range in size from 4' to 12'. Cutting capacity is 1/4" mild steel.   Punching N.C. Turret Presses - We have two Nisshinbo HIQ 1250’s with state-of-the-art controls, and the ability to punch a 48 x 96 sheet without repositioning. These machines can punch up to 350 holes per minute on 1" centers and can punch material as thick as .250".   Punch Presses - We have punch press capabilities ranging from 30 ton punching capacity to 60 ton capacity.   Welding The capacities of welding services are unlimited. We have 6 robotic welding machines.  Machines are capable of welding chests (steel box) from the inside which provides a clean surface on the outside surface.  We also offer MIG, TIG, brazing, and spot welding services. Certified welders are on staff.   Rolling We have a four roll 3/8" X 10' Roundo Roller with state-of-the-art controls.   Leveling We have a Herr Voss leveler (stand alone) used to level ½” plate to a flatness spec of .032’ or .8mm.   Forming / Press Brakes We have several press brakes ranging in size from 4' to 14' and tonnage from 20 to 350 ton capacity.  Capability to form ½” steel into a U shape.    Shot Blasting Pangborn shot blast capabilities for blasting steel plates (6’ x 11’) to remove scale, rust and identification markings.   Powder Coating Our conveyorized Powder Coating Department includes a Nordson electrostatic paint system with infrared radiant curing heaters. Color charts are available upon request. Porter's uses an environmentally safe 3-stage cleaning process to prepare the parts before painting.   Finishing Wetspray – LineX ™ capabilities.   Assembly We have the ability to assemble, package and ship to meet any requirements.
